Murat Cinar, CEO of the National telecom operator Vega.
Murat Cinar is the top manager who has dedicated to telecom more than 20 years. During this time, he managed projects and led technical divisions of the largest telecommunications companies of the world in Turkey, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Algeria, and since 2005 - in Ukraine. Mr. Cinar headed Vega in 2015. With his leadership the company underwent deep transformation, including optimization of business processes, large-scale development of its own network and new products launch. Vega made strategic move to providing complex telecom solutions, primarily for the business segment. CEO supports the client-oriented approach and cultivates it inside the Vega team.
He determines his mission as CEO of national telecom-operator - "the leader of technological transformation".
Murat Cinar graduated from Gaziantep University, Electrical and Electronics Department. In 2014 received MBA degree from Koc University (Istanbul).
Global leader in delivering ICT solutions - Ericsson became his first workplace, where he was soon delegated to Staff Reserve Program. He was working in Ericsson in different countries during 10 years. For this time Mr. Cinar performed a range of turnkey rollout projects and network modernization, consisting of 30 thousand base stations, as well as managed transmission and core networks. He closely cooperated with Turkcell telecom and its subsidiaries, including Lifecell, one of the mobile market leaders in Ukraine.
It was Lifecell, where in 2010 Murat Cinar continued his career as the Technical Director. He was in charge of full-scale management of 2G and 3G network all over Ukraine, which consists of c. 10 thousand base stations and provide service to over 10 Million subscribers.
In spring 2015 he was appointed CEO of the national telecom operator Vega.
Mr. Cinar is married and has two daughters.
